SMS alerts from Google Calender

SMS notification allows you to check your Google calendar when you're on the go.You can get a SMS notification from the events by enabling mobile alerts.

Configuring your Mobile Phone

1. Log in to Google Calendar
   
2. Click on Settings at the top and select Mobile Setup tab
3. Select your country from the 'Country' drop-down menu.
4. Enter your phone number in the 'Phone number' field.
5. Select your carrier from the drop-down menu, if applicable.
6. Click on Send Verification Code button Wait till you get a message from Google with verification code.
7. Once you receive the verification code, enter the code and click on Finish setup

Now you are all set to receive SMS alerts for the event reminders you create in Google Calendar.

Cost of SMS notifications:
Google Calendar is a free product and Google doesn't charge you to receive notifications. Please keep in mind that if you're in the US or Canada, your mobile service provider's standard rate for receiving text messages may apply.
